I had a back procedure with dr Mazahery that had kept me from living a comfortable life. I had been very apprehensive about any surgery and he explained every detail of the surgery and never once pushed me into making a decision. He was highly recommended to me and I’d happily return the recommendation to anyone with an orthopedic problem where surgery has been recommended or contemplated. Dr Mazahery was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable! For an orthopedic surgeon to tell you - “if any doctor mentions surgery to you - run the other direction; your problem cannot be corrected surgically,” instills a trust like no other. Dr Mazahery is a straight forward professional, tells you like it is, recommends treatment that best suited for your needs. I have seen him separately for both neck and lower back issues. Highly recommend him.
Dr. Mazahery listened and made sure all my post-surgical issues were addressed, including a brace for my tennis elbow that another Dr. in his office was seeing me about. I am delighted with his care during surgery and the past six months.
He is very patient and kind. Listens and answers questions and concerns. Really care about your outcome and well being.
Dr. Mazahery recently performed a lamenectamy and spine fusion on me. No complaints, nothing but praise for him. Dr. Mazahery was knowledgeable and personable. He hung in there with and always answered all my questions, in multiple office visits, and in the hospital before and after the surgeries. After seeing two other ortho docs for long-term pain in my right hip area, decided to go for a third opinion with Dr. M. He went over my MRIs with me, diagnosed hip bursitis and gave me a painless hydrocortisone shot. Less than 24 hours later, I woke up with so much less pain. I can put my socks on again!
