I've seen Dr. Mazahery for years for chronic spinal conditions. He has never failed to be personable, helpful, caring, and an expert at explaining things.He caught issues and diagnosis that previous doctors had missed, and took what felt like a personal stake in the quality of the care I received.
Doctor questioned I was experiencing pain. Moreover, options provided to solve the underlining issue were not as successful as more up to date surgery techniques. Make sure you visit another doctor as this doctor will not only gaslight you but also miss communicating more advantageous procedures.
Dr. Mazahary answered all my questions and explained the surgical procedure to me. He scheduled the surgery, but also stated that I should go home and think about it before committing; it could always be cancelled. I am glad I didn't, best decision made. My life is back and I am pain free.
I have visited Dr. Mazahery for the first time over a year ago for a pain in my leg and hip. He diagnosed my issue to be my back and performed a back surgery on me. I have been pain free since the surgery. So his diagnosis was correct. No need to mention that I had seen several doctors for the same problem and none could understand what my problem was. The visit was seamless, considering the emergency nature of my visit. The entire team was accommodating, friendly, professional, and experts in the field. I highly recommend them to anybody who is any type of orthopedic distress, a great partner of the Washington commanders.
Dr M has helped resolve my back problems to the point that I’m back to basically 100%. He’s professional, pleasant and most of all listens!
This was an initial visit to assess my lower spine. I had seen Dr. Mazahery several years ago and felt very confident that I was in excellent hands as he had done successful surgery on my upper spine in the past. He is as direct and forthright as I remembered. His office staff are to be commended as well as they were both professional and courteous.
After suffering intense hip and leg pain from pressure on lumbar nerve, Dr Mazahari performed superb spinal fusion surgery - relieving my pain completely. He is not only highly competent, but has a warm personality and explains everything thoroughly. Highly recommend.
