I think things have much improved in the admin dept. I too had previously found the receptionist very brusque but things have completely changed! I guess reviews had an impact! So am pleased to give a positive review. Also the assertive hygienist is a bit intimidating at first but she's great at her job and funny too. The dentist, John, is super and I feel well looked after.
Absolutely amazing service by the whole team and really happy with the care I received. The receptionists, dental nurses and dentist I saw were all informative, explained the procedure/ health of my teeth gum etc in clear detail and were warm and welcoming from start to finish. I would highly recommend to anyone without hesitation.
I was a patient with Avondale, COVID hit and obviously they couldn’t see anyone. I phoned afterwards asking when where they making appointments, I was told there was a backlog and would be in touch. I phoned 6 months later, again they would be in touch. Then they said they where going private and would I join Denplan, if I didn’t want too just to leave it. Just phoned the practice to enquire about their services, the “lady” I spoke to, cut me off while I was in the middle of a sentence. It was very apparent that she is in urgent need of a refresher course on how to speak to people in an appropriate and polite manner!!! This didn’t give me any faith in this dental practice whatsoever!!!
Great dentist and overall service - our whole family have used them a lot and we are consistently impressed
