A massive thank you to Marco at Avis at Manchester Airport. After a very stressful situation where I was worrying I’d be left stranded, Marco was extremely helpful and empathetic and enabled me to hire a car at very short notice. He made sure I was set with everything I needed and resolved my situation for me. I can’t thank him enough for his kindness in a stressful situation. Thank you Marco - you are brilliant :)

Great experience as an Avis Preferred member, you can skip going to the "car rental reception" and head directly to the Avis Preferred desk (I believe it works for the "Quickpass" too) at the nearby parking. Very helpful staff and great car :) Only annoying thing was getting there from the terminal via the courtesy shuttle bus as it was very crowded and it seemed like the bus doesn't come very often, but that has nothing to do with the car rental company.
