Really impressed with the communication and professionalism of the Chester team navigating my last minute booking and Australian card payment! However 1* review for fueling charge when car was returned FULL refueled at the Shell about 500m away!

Refused to rent a vehicle to me and had to go to Europcar last minute who had no problems in hiring to me. Something I was planning on spending £100-200 became £300-400 because of this. Appalling service and will never rent with Avis again. Really screwed me over

These people are real crooks - at car return they accept your car saying everything is ok and then send an invoice for damages that do not exist - without producing any evidence (photo). I intend to sue them. Please avoid and spread the news. And of course Avis central is not able to help in anyways… ABSOLUTE DISGRACE !

Advise not to use. We've just tried to return our car within office hours to find out it was shut. Unclear parking instructions so have had to pay 3 days of parking as it's also shut on weekends. Have no way of getting through to them on phone and expect to get a refund on the parking.
