While the service I receive from the dentist is great, the people that file insurance fall short. I'm having claims denied, and it's all due to lack of sufficient data being provided. This then requires me following up, and staying on top of things. If I'm going to have to followup to make sure the job is being done sufficiently, then I might as well just file the claims myself. Very frustrating. I did not experience this type of stuff with my previous dentist. If not resolved, this will result in me changing dentists.

This has been my third visit with avery ranch dental, and this was by far the worst out of the three. My appt. was at 1 o'clock and only after I complained about the wait did they start my procedure at 1:50. I was given numb medication at around 1:10 for one filling, and did not feel anything until almost 6 p.m. that night. This did not happen my first two visits, which required two fillings. I called that morning and told the receptionist that I needed BOTH a cleaning and to have a crown looked at due to pain that I was experiencing. I arrived, filled out paperwork and was seen, only to have partial x-rays taken, with NO cleaning. I also found the exam room to be pretty dusty. Then I go to checkout, and I'm told that I have to wait 6 MORE months for insurance to cover my cleaning, even though YOUR receptionist made the mistake.
