Lauren was great. – Today I went to get highlights with Lauren, and it was a great experience. I didn't feel like she was in a hurry to get to her next client, which was a VERY nice switch to my prior experiences at other aveda salons and they quick to get me my services started. The color was just perfect, great scalp massage and hand massage. Awesome Avondale/Aveda Find – Wow, what a suprise to find a great Aveda Salon in Avondale. I came in to Avante and was greeted by a smile and offered something to drink. This was nice. The receptionist and my Stylist as well as all the other girls were all talking the having a great day. I was extremely pleased with my Cut, Color and Highlights and wow, my hair looked awesome! Love, Luv, Luhv it!! – I had an awesome experience. Thank you Natasha and staff. You made me feel welcome, my hair looks awesome, staff was attentive and friendly. Salon looks sharp, and Aveda products are the best. Booked my next appointment before I left. This salon knows color and highlights and my hair has NEVER looked better! Bonus - lunch at Biscotti's! Negatives: parking at lunchtime. But with so many great shops in this historic district it is to be expected. See you in 6 weeks!
One of the saddest displays of customer service I have ever seen – Ok-did I walk into the same salon as some of the others reviewing this salon? The address is correct...it's the same salon. Ok-yes I got my great cup of tea...as all Aveda salons offer. The receptionist was quite nice...great start. The salon itself certainly isn't high end by any means. Great Salon - saved my hair! – As a newbie in the Jacksonville area, my first salon experience left me with patchy color and an uneven cut. I went to Avante for corrective color, and haven't gone anywhere else since. From the start of my relationship with them, I've found the staff very knowledgeable and professional, and while we had a good laugh over my unfortunate experience, Christina and team were able to undo all the damage and make me look great! Amazing Salon. – As I expected from an Aveda Salon, Avante' was like stepping into a vacation. I am very cautious when choosing who colors my hair, and she did the most amazing work I've seen in a long time. These sculptors are the best in Jacksonville!!!

Don't be suckered into this salon – This salon aspires to be exclusive but falls way short of the mark. The owner/manager butted into my consultation and was on the verge of being snippy, not with the stylist but with me. The stylist was not a student, but the manager treated her as if she was. The manager needs advanced customer service training if she wants to build up return cilentele.
