I moved into Avalon Esterra Park in January of this year. Since February, there has been constant noise coming from the apartment directly above me. The management at first claimed no one lived there. Then, when I went to investigate, I found someone there whom I told to stop making the harassing noise. She said nothing and has continued to make even worse noise. I've contacted the Redmond police, and they have stated that they will do nothing about the problem. Avalon Hunt Valley might as well be made out of paper mache with how easy it is to hear every activity of every neighbor. This building is so flimsy that just about everything from doors to footsteps to everything else that you might think to do in an apartment will rattle and shake your walls, floors and furniture. This company is a scam! Do not rent from this community! I experienced discrimination, a lack of communication, and lost my security deposit after applying for an apartment that was not even close to what was advertised online!

I would give no stars if that were possible. The maintenance staff is good which is great because everything is old, substandard and constantly breaking down. The complex office presents itself as staffed. In fact while the do have hours posted, they are often closed. Tenants are told to call.”customer care”. Unfortunately, they often didn't return our calls. Management and upkeep of the community is poor. You will be ghosted by management and or maintenance. If or when you receive a reply it will be weeks to months later. The maintenance cannot resolve to fix community space amenities timely. Broken garage door took 8 weeks to fix. Gym A/C has been broken all summer making it an unusable space because of the heat and humidity. The experience has been horrible and frustrating. -The no smoking policy wasn’t enforced - they merely put up signs and sent emails. There was no penalty, no fine, just emails. -I was verbally assaulted in the gym. Again, no action whatsoever, just a call and email to follow-up. After nearly dying with covid 3 times in a year and a half this company feels it is ok to raise my rent 1 thousand dollars a month. This is ridiculous. I have been in an out of hospital all this time and this is what they do to me. I have lived there for 5 years and they take my Illness as an opportunity to try and scam me and extremely raise my rent!

Pricey & Horrible place to live Our first year here was so so not great, loads of roaches who the maintenance called water bugs (they are not they are HUGE ROACHES) because of all the issues in the first unit we were in E building (roach infestation, a room wall semi caved in wall and wet carpet after a hard downpour and they had us move the furniture ourselves and took forever to fix it + other appliance mishaps, like them not doing proper maintenance and leaving about 1 years' worth of dog hair in the dryer from the previo... read more
