Rick and Amanda are two of the nicest and most professional people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. they have worked on my wife's car, daughter's car and my granddaughters car. I have always been pleased with the work and the charges. I recommend at least one person a week to them and I work in an auto dealership.

Took my '72 Karman Ghia in with engine idle problem and a bad fan vibration. Rick had it diagnosed and running like new the next day.
Rick and Amanda are great to work with and they take such great care of my beloved 1971 VW bus. When I first bought it, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and they have helped keep my bus on the road. They have a passion for vintage VWs and have gone out of their way several times when I’ve had mechanic issues.

I took my 68' VW Bus to Rick at the recommendation of Elias up at Mntn Service Imports. Rick dropped the motor and fixed my problems some we knew about, and some we found out about through the mechanical investigation. After fixing the multiple exhaust leaks I have a bus that has twice the power and is twice as quiet. They kept me in the loop through the process. What else can you ask of your mechanic? I trust my ‘78 Rivera with Automotive Artifex. Rick has done a great job keeping her on the road. He just finished putting on rotors and pads. If you’re looking for someone to work on your VW, you won’t find anyone more qualified. Just one more thing......if you got a rust bucket, don’t expect miracles. As my mom used to say.....”You can’t turn a pig’s ear into a silk purse!”.
