Went in for tracking and a puncture today, tracking was a mile out and there was a knocking I couldn’t diagnose. The mechanics not only sorted the tracking, but got to the source of the knocking, and resolved that too. Transpires the knocking could have ended up being quite serious if left unresolved. Ended up getting two new tyres ad the tracking had worn the old ones unevenly,. Tyres in stock and the car ready on time, allowing me to come away for weekend trouble free. A normal day yesterday turned into a nightmare when a spring broke and subsequently punctured a tyre. Rang Southwell Auto Centre who were happy to take the car when recovered. They had completed MOT’s, services and Work for me before and had already ordered parts and a tyre before I arrived. Gave me an estimated time of a week, however, contacted today to say the car was ready. They apologised for the costs but with service like theirs I was extremely pleased with the way they handled everything.
