We had a fantastic experience having our child assessed for Autism and ADHD. The staff were friendly and knew exactly how to help us best. They provided lots of helpful information ahead of the assessments so I could prepare us. We were well advised and never felt like we were on a conveyor belt. Instead it felt like we were the only people being assessed and that all the focus of the staff was on us. Now in my early 50's, this experience with ANE was the turning point of my life. A Therapist sent me the link to to their website. I had an incredibly positive experience as an adult getting assessed for autism. I was listened to, and all my concerns were addressed. I felt completely validated throughout and everything was ever so thorough. I was lucky enough to jump ahead of the waiting time due to a cancellation, and I can definitely say it was worth the cost because of the depth of every aspect of the assessment. Our daughter recently attended Autism North East at Clara Vale. I chose to take my daughter here as we are currently on a five year waiting list with CAMHS and due to the difficulties my daughter has I did not feel we could wait five years. We had to wait a while for our initial appointment but once we had this all of our other appointments were booked within a week or two of each other, some of them on the same day so we didn't have to travel up and down for separate appointments and some over Zoom.
