Paid over $550 for the unit. Worked great for almost one year and we were so pleased. Then it stopped filtering. Called customer service and they suggested a new filter - even though the unit was less than a year old. Ok. Another $220. Replaced filter and the unit still does not filter the way it did. Customer Service now doesn't have a clue. $770 is pretty pricey for less than one year of functionality. And I still need to find another filter and it WILL NOT be an Austin Air.
Five stars! Got the air pure so.my wife and I don't have allergies in our house.

These air purifiers are remarkable! I have tried several different products, but these are far better than any I have tried. I researched this company and their products for a writing project for a client...needless to say, I bought one for myself and recommended them to another family member who bought one and a friend who bought two.
We were recommand theses units because because we had 3 rooms of birds douwnstair and wanted to make sure that the excess dust that the birds airfilters did not catch did not end up in the rest of the house. We also have a full heppa filter on our furnace. The issues we have is that after 3 years the filter themself stop giving us proper quality aire filtration and make us ill.
