TLDR: Called this office to get an appointment, was treated like a burden and was not given a reason why they wouldn't accept me as a patient, despite them taking my insurance. I got a recommendation for this doctor, and as someone who has been bed bound 80-90% of the time, I was hopeful they would help. I got a referral from my primary care and called them immediately after. I explained my situation and was immediately met with resistance. This doctor tried to prescribe me vitamins and did not try to work with my symptoms. He was not reassuring at all about my migraines. I saw him 5 times, and he still couldn't tell I had migraine with motor aura. He did not try to explain anything to me just told me I have "complicated migraines"? What??? I went to a specialist at MedStar, and they finally gave me 2 preventative meds and 2 abortive, and took me seriously. This guy was all about those insurance checks.
