I highly recommend Dr. Barber and his staff. Always kind, always courteous and they care. It doesn't get much better and I am grateful to be under his care.
I am BRCA1 positive. With that news, i have never been so scared in my life. Lucky for me, a friend of my hubands recommended Dr. Barber. Dr. Barber's office is 1.5 hr from hour home but we decided to make it work. I am soooo THANKFUL we did. Dr. Erin Bowman is a skilled, experienced surgeon with a calm, gentle bedside manner. She put me and my family right at ease in our very first consultation, when she educated us on the cancer I had and the procedures available for removing it. I ended up getting a double mastectomy with reconstruction, and I am grateful that Dr. Bowman allowed the plastic surgeon to begin working at the same time, in the same surgery, so I could be under anesthesia for a shorter period of time.
