Every person I have encountered over the past 4 days have provided compassionate professional care. I am and have been in excellent hands, since I hit the door with EMS after a vehicle crash. Hopefully, discharged today, but I wouldn't mind if I had to stay � Thank-you again to everyone!

My brother has been at Aspirus for the past several days and was scheduled for back surgery on Monday. On Tuesday morning I called the hospital, asked for his room and for several rings no one answered the phone. Finally someone (I don't know the persons name) asked me who I was calling. I told her (and it was a female) that I was looking for Room 0416 and she asked me if I was a relative. I said yes, he's my brother. We were up visiting my parents. My hubby scratched his eye... so closest walk in clinic was Antigo. So went to walk in... the nurses were nice... they froze his eye, put a solution in and did a light up thing to see where it was scratched. They said he should have a tetinus shot. Well they gave it to him there. Should of said tell your Dr. Monday you need one. This was on 9/16 yesterday get the Explanation of benefits from insurance from that visit. There is a very touching commercial around now that celebrates the birth of a new baby and talks about having the best of care. I think it's important to know that some bad experiences have happened at their birthing unit. I have heard several women say their doctors had performed the "husband stitch" after birth without their permission (something that is unnecessary, unhealthy and disrespectful) As for my personal experiences, they push inducing labor for any multitude of reasons. I have been to aspirus a couple of times and have had very good care all very helpful ans well mannered people loved it there and would recommend it to anyone
