Under-staffed, too rough We have been taking our 16-year-old cocker spaniel/poodle to Aspen Commons for some time. It was just recently that I realized how unprofessional and disorganized this place has become. They are clearly under-staffed and over-booked. Plan on waiting a long time, even with an early morning appointment. Take your pets elsewhere This used to be a good animal hospital, but something has happened in the past few years and now everything is utter chaos. I left Aspen Commons almost 2 years ago after their sub-standard care contributed to the death of a dog who saved my life more than once, and since then I've heard horror stories from other clients. F**K THIS CLINIC I am a former employee of Aspen Commons. I have worked there for aover a year and a half. Let me tell all of you to take your animals some where else. I have seen this so called doctor come to work drunk to perform a euthinasia for a client, try to provied 24hr care for critical animalsand not even bother to show up, and hit clients animals when they dont cooperate with him. He treats his staff like S**T and pays his kennel techs under minimum wage. I honestly think his clinic should be shut down.

I suspect that the disgruntled ex-employees were terminated "for cause" and are lashing out because I can't believe a word of what they have said because it has been so totally opposite to my experience and the experience of the friends that recommended Aspen Commons to be in the first place. My cat has hyperthyroidism and needs her prescription for Methimazole refilled. Aspen Commons Animal Hospital said I have to make an appointment to get the prescription refilled.
