Great Animal Hospital My cats are my children, so my veterinarian must be right up there with a pediatrician. After becoming frustrated with the clinic that we'd been going to for years, a friend recommended Aspen Commons. The only good thing left at this clinic... ... left a long time ago. Brooke was a tender-caring technician with superlative skills. She treated animals and owners with the respect and care that they deserve. It was always a pleasure to bring my pets to the facility while she was there, because she always greeted us with a smile. However, now it just plain sucks! Please do yourselves a favor and follow the example that she left... just walk out.
NOT THE BEST BY FAR I am an ex employee from Aspen Commons and would like to say that unfortunately that all of the horror stories that have been said on this page are true. Most of the technicians that work there where fired from other hospitals for animal neglect and drug problems. Sandra Abu-Bakr- teacher Aurora Public Schools I have had the pleasure of Dr. James' expertise for 25 years. He has tended to two cats and four dogs over this time. His knowledge is profound; his manner is warm and professional; his treatment of all the animals is completely devoted. Dr. James is fantastic - but expect a long wait We have just started going to Aspen Commons, as Dr. James was referred by a friend. He is definitely worth the wait, but each time my husband and I have taken our puppy, we have had to wait at least 45 minutes before seeing the vet. It is worth it in my opinion, but it's a shame that I have to carve out half a day to go to the vet.
30+ years of Great Service Dr James was our vet when we lived in Denver from 1979-1991 and took care of all our pets - our Golden Brandy at the time would stay with Dr James whenever we needed to travel and she lived to be 16+ years old. He is an amazing and caring vet and we have referred our friends who live in Denver to him for many years. The Staff at Aspen Commons has always been a great support and after all these years, we still hear marvelous things about the clinic! Great Job~
No answers I agree that the staff is rude and abrupt.I have called with questions on my pets medications and have had to wait two days for answers.I will take action if my animal should have adverse problems due to this "too bust" state of affairs.Dr James is super and I feel he is too rushed.Ryan and Bea are just plain rude and self important people.Bea is rude and every time I speak to her I get the feeling she enjoys giving you a hard time and not relaying messages correctly,causing more lost time and inconvenience.I agre... read more
I love this place I think Dr. James and his staff are some of the best Vets and vet techs that I've met in Denver. They are always caring and compassionate, and very helpful even over the phone. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
