3/24 I was supposed to have a couch from Ashley Furniture delivered. I spend my day waiting for a delivery, that came an hour after the delivery window. The delivery man refused to attempt to bring it upstairs for fear of damage that he would be held responsible for, as that is Ashley furniture’s policy. The retailer (Farmingdale, New York) as well as customer service in New Jersey have been unprofessional in resolving an issue with a chair having a defect. Why does it take over a month to get replacement parts to get shipped out for a manufacturers defect??? And then who knows how long I have to wait for a technician to come and fix it. I had the worst experience with Ashleys they deliver wrong bed to my house than I called them and told them they brought the right bed but it was damaged in 5 spots when asked to speak to mgr. they told me they were all in a meeting all day gave me the run around. Kept calling told them I wanted to get different bed for my daughter and dresser now and they had the nerve to tell me they were going to charge me fees for that. Good evening , I have been on the phone for two days with a rep shawn from the flatbush ave ashleys and joseph gonzalez from edison, There was a mistake made on my order. My shipment is being sent to my billing address rather than my shipping address. He said that he would not change it and they will be charging me a shipping fee. I have been overcharged for product that I should have never received. I have been emailing the Edison location and had to wait for over a half hour last night when I called Customer Care for online orders. The Representative that I spoke to last night, refused to put me in touch with a Manager and I still have no resolution nor have I received a call or email. I ordered my furniture November 18, 2017. I was told that I would have to wait a month for delivery so me and my husband agreed to wait. Now it is January 26, 2018 and they have canceled their deliveries 4 times!!!!!!! I still am waiting for my living room set and had to cancel my Christmas party and my New Year's party due to Ashley furniture canceling their delivery several times... Worst experience EVER.First and last time buying in Ashley. We bought a firm mattress a week ago. I have back problems so we were happy getting this mattress. We checked others stores, but we stopped in Ashley, and unfortunately decided to get the mattress there. (huge mistake) after 3 nights sleeping in my new mattress my back pain started, so we decided to call customer service to exchange it and we got the worst costumer service ever.
