Due to the concerns of my family and the care home that my relative moved to, this care home was the subject of an investigation by the local authority. The conclusion was that: “Based on information gathered, on the balance of probability, (my relative) did experience neglect by Ashbourne care home."
My partner has been a resident at Ashbourne Court for two and a half years. Unfortunately his condition has deteriorated considerably but the care he has received has been first class. During the restrictions of lockdown the staff endeavoured to enable him to keep in touch via FaceTime. We were kept informed of any changes in his condition. Ashbourne is a small , friendly, homely Residential Care Home which I would recommend
My mother has been in this lovely caring care home for the past 6 weeks, the staff are so friendly and efficient . I would highly recommend this home as it really is like home from home. Lovely cooked meals too.
