“Find the care you need close to home.” What a load of crap!!! How many people do you send to Topeka because our local, huge, mostly empty hospital is full???? 4 on the morning my mother needed to be admitted.
RecommendedVery nice hospital. Staff extremely nice, friendly and helpful. I am from Jackson, Ms, visiting my mom(Susie McKinley ) in ICU. Happy nurses week to all the wonderful nurses.
Horrible care and treatment. Expect to spend countless hours waiting to be seen, then triple that time before you see a doctor. You may be lucky and see a nurse quickly during that time. Overall the majority of the interaction you will have will be the registration clerk who comes to your room. if you are looking for emergency treatment this is not the hospital to go to.

Waited 5+ hours, need surgery but all they did was push in my stomach and say good luck this is the way it is here’s a surgeon you can go to if needed meanwhile I got nowhere and 12 hours later I am in the same spot as I was before I got there PAIN! Can’t eat or sleep can’t cough or laugh! and we sit there for 5 hours with an IV starter THE WHOLE TIME my hernia is terrible yet they dismissed me smh I never had this bad of a time! RecommendedFrom Labor & Delivery, to Mother/Baby and the Special Care Nursery team, Alexian Brothers at Elk Grove was top notch! They took amazing care of my newborn and me, and made our extended stay comfortable and made us feel so cared for! The room service staff and food were excellent, and every aspect of my time here was amazing! I’d highly recommend this hospital for your child birth!
I had the worst birthing experience there not only are the anesthesiologist under trained no bedside manner what so ever but when I as the patient needed help and reassurance during my birthing experience I was met by a staff of untrained individuals who could NOT assist me. I have been living with health anxiety since the day I left that hospital going on almost exactly 2 years
RecommendedI have used the lab many times and will continue. It is very busy some days especially if you have to be NPO.
