RecommendedThis hospital is awesome. Nothing is perfect, but they are very professional, caring, friendly and do their best to help you. The hospital is very clean. In this area the only hospitals I will go to if I can choose is This one and the one in Eldorado. They are both awesome and care for their patients. wayne wilson
RecommendedMy family doctor recently called me and said to go to St Alexius and get a STAT ultrasound Doppler of my leg. I got thru the front door, was checked in within 5 minutes and on the table being scanned within 10 minutes. That was such fast service!
RecommendedThe staff in 4 South and 4 north are excellent. I have filled out several nominations for the sunflower and daisy awards (these are recognition awards for going above and beyond). ER staff was also kind, compassionate, and through. Very pleased with the very high quality of care my husband is being provided, the hospital is also very clean and well kept.
RecommendedHad surgery Wednesday, still in the hospital and, looking at rehab Monday. Chest tube out today. Drainage all but complete. Epidural and urinary catheter planned removal tomorrow, if I can handle it on to rehab. Looking forward to that. Same surgery I had in 2008, but it is going so much smoother. Impressed with St Vincent again, making another terrible experience the best it can be. Maybe because I have the pups waiting on me. Something to look forward to and driving me to heal in peace.

Ever since alexian brothers merged with amita it has become a horrible facility. not only did I have to page my own doctor 6 times from my hospital bed but I was told by said doctor he didn't even know who I was or that he had a patient in this room. yet he's been ordering meds.Also I had already been admitted for several hours when I finally spoke to the doctor (sunkara) Then there's the nurse who literally didn't answer the call light for 4.5 hours.
