My experience with Dr Armstrong has been the best I have ever had from a doctor. He has gone the extra mile to address other health situations by connecting me with an appropriate physician. I would without reservation, add his name to a short list of quality doctors I have seen.
The office has many opportunities for improvement. Recently it took me (current patient for the last 5 years) over a month to get an appointment for an urgent issue. When I got to the office, no one advised me that they were running behind. I waited over an hour and then heard from another patient they were running late. I waited over 2 hours and finally left without being able to see the doctor. When I told the nurse I had to leave, she was extremely rude and never apologized for the delay
I had a two hour wait. I will certainly recommend him to others, but with a caveat, "Bring a good book."
Dr. David Armstrong is a most caring and thorough physician. I cannot think of another that I would want to take my ears, nose and throat to be treated. My son and I go to him for treatment, and he makes us feel that we are the most important patients he has as does his staff.
Great listener. Patient and calm demeanor. Non anxious presence. Thoughtful. Totally trust his judgement.
I would highly recommend Dr. Armstrong. I had chronic bilateral Mastoiditis and had to have surgery on both my right and left side mastoid regions. He is professional, very knowledgeable,and very kind. On an overall scale of 0-10, this doctor is a 10. He cared, he listened, he understood. I could not ask for more.

Several visits over the years.. Each visit has gotten worse than the last. Had a failed surgery for closing a perforation, which was successful in subsequent surgery at Vanderbilt. Been back a couple times after for sinus/ear issues, and Armstrong wouldn't even peek his head in the door after my requesting him. If your looking to be treated like ticket number X, this is your place.
I would highly recommend Dr. Armstrong. He is very compassionate with his patients and takes time to explain things.
