As of September 2017 would discourage anyonr staying here (refer to comment elsewhere re our stay 3 yrs ago). Current state news discuss hotel (new owners) being closed unless many code violations corrected soon...we totally agree it SHOULD be closed unless completely overhauled!!!
It's a pretty nice place, it's and historical place so it's kind of old ! It's price just a lil to high. But I always enjoy my stay there. People could be a lil more friendlier!
This historic hotel is awesome! I also tried the mineral baths there for the first time. What a treat! Susan took such good care of me. I felt so pampered!
We have been coming here 3 or 4 times a year for the last 10 years, however, this year I was extremely disappointed. The history surrounding this iconic hotel is what keeps us coming here time again. The staff is always friendly and helpful and we love the downtown location. We had heard they were renovating the pool... they made it smaller and it is still in need of upkeep. We loved everything ! Wonderful staff ! Loved the history of hotel . We went on a Wednesday and Thursday so it wasn't very busy . Thank you for hospitality.
