I was in with my dad waiting to be seen in the pre op area. He was in there for two hours. He was on his phone and was starting to hand it to me as the Anastasia doctor came in. She asked him what he was in there for, he told her. She then asked what he was allergic to. Since I wasn’t paying attention when he was trying to hand me his phone he sat it on his chest. I’ve been there twice and getting ready to be a third time soon. I would not be going back if my experience had not been a good one!!! The employees - all of them - are sooo nice and helpful. All are very professional which I think is wonderful and appreciated.
I am shocked by all the positive reviews. Our experience began when everyone was told to arrive at 6:30am, everyone. And then everyone sits all day. Next, I was told my husband was in recovery, 2 hours later I discover they are still closing. No one informed me, I had to chase down a nurse to find my husband. Now laying in his bed, we were told by the only RN on duty on our area, that his compression machine was never applied. All the docs are gone by 1pm, leaving substandard staff to care for the post op. It appears they pr... read more
From the moment I walked in I was cared for. I had some very kind and respectful nurses. They checked on me often and did everything they could to make a major surgery a little easier. A lot of employees I encountered had the same procedure as me and that eased my mind seeing the things they are capable of now. I highly recommend using this hospital for any orthopedic or spine surgery.
