A beautiful cottage in a gorgeous, countryside location. Luxurious feel throughout but still retaining that quintessential, English feel. Peace and quiet. Friendly chickens and lovely hosts.

Had a relaxing weekend at Archer's Cottage. It is very well equipped and so cosy and comfortable - a real home-from-home. What a great place as a base to explore a beautiful part of the country.

So much better than my photos and bigger on the inside (like the T.A.R.D.I.S. !) Everything you need, and if you haven't packed it with you, shops are about 10 mins drive away. (Just pack it anyway, who wants to go shopping? .) You have a beautiful, cosy and immaculate cottage to yourself! I didn't venture far, as I'm local, and just needed a break, but it's a great hub if you do. I think it's perfect for couples or solo travellers. Beautifully kitted out with more than you could possibly need, just in case of a rainy day. A lovely space to be in, with helpful local tips left throughout the cottage. The owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, able to advise about local eateries and trips out. Very much recommend this place for a couple of days away.

Stayed for 3 nights in Archers Cottage. It is a gem of a place, peaceful, comfy with lovely decorative touches and with everything you could possibly need. The breakfast hamper is well worth ordering too. If you get a chance to stay thank your lucky starts.
