I have been with State Farm for around 20 years. I previously have had a good experience, but I don't know what happened with them recently. If I could give zero stars, I would. I hit a deer 2 weeks ago. Since then, State Farm cancelled salvage because they "couldn't locate the vehicle" despite me AND the tow company confirming the car's location at least 3 times. The WORST company ever! If I could give less than 1 star I would. Horrible customer service, management team who doesn’t call you back and refused to speak to customers. They left me paying for my own rental due to their lack of urgency, it took them a month to send someone to even look at my car. I filed a complaint and then they denied my claim 1 hour after filing a complaint. State Farm {Auto} does NOT even deserve one star! I have never ever known an insurance company as VILE, down and dirty, and UNPROFESSIONAL as State Farm! The people they hire make the dregs of society look good! They are liars & cheats! Even if one is "in the right" they will LIE & make false reports, and if it is their client decide in the favor of their client, even if their client caused the accident and was in the wrong!.........If you ever have someone answer the phone named "Marta" hang up!
We are dealing with a case of vandalism and need to get our business opened as soon as possible, but our claims handler, Ashly has not responded to any of our communication.
I have no traffic violations or any accidents and yet my bill went from from 76 dollars to 113 dollars a month with no explanation as to why I am paying more.
1) my truck had been broken into and vandalize, state farm wouldn't cover the stuff that were stolen claiming it should be a home claim, they wouldn't even cover the damages done on the interior handle which was obviously caused by the theft. 2) it's been 3 weeks now going into the 4th week and state farm kept going back and forth with the collision center, and have paid and voided payments several times to 2 other collision center that I've never been to. 3) Mantrell who claims to be a manager had a VERY RUDE ATTITUDE, he w... read more
If you are looking for an insurance company that will help you with claims if something happens, stay away from State Farm. We had a sudden and accidental hot water pex pipe to burst inside our walk-in closet wall. State Farm would not pay for the repair to stop the leak. Also, State Farm would not pay for rerouting of the plumbing lines to keep a leak from happening again.
