Worst place ever. Overpriced. Annoyingly long lines for everything! For 20 dollars a person to pick so damn apples hire some for freaking people.
We had a great day and this was our last visit...off to Florida 2015, but thank you for the 10 years of memories!
My family and I went to Apple Holler today and were shocked to see their expensive prices. We have been going to Apple Holler for four years now and we will never return. My family of three (two adults and one 5 year old) paid $55.00 for two 1/2 peck bags that hold 5-6 lbs each and one 1/4 bag that holds 3 lbs of apples and one pumpkin. That small amount cost $55.00. There are plenty of other orchards that include hayrides, corn mazes, cow trains and even a Ferris wheel that charge a lot less than what Apple Holler charges. ... read more

Dear Alison, Thank you for reviewing Apple Holler. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your visit at Apple Holler. We are also sorry that you feel that we are taking advantage of our customers. Our goal is to have a fun family friendly place where families can enjoy down on the farm fun, and make some great memories. Thank you for letting us know how you feel. Feedback is important to Apple Holler. Sincerely, Dave
Me and my family came today for the very first time. I can say we were all shocked to hear what your prices were. You MUST have a bag to enter your farm area at $20 per bag! Are you kidding???? Not everyone in our group was able to apple pick and for those of us who were picking, $20 for a bag which fit only 7 or 8 apples? That's $2.50 per apple! Ridiculous!! But that was not even an option. Like I said, EVERYONE MUST have a $20 bag to enter. So if you have a 6 month old baby, they MUST have a bag. If you have grandma who's ... read more

Dear Charlene, We are sorry that you had anything less than a wonderful experience here at Apple Holler. We are also sorry that you are misinformed about our Apple Farm Experience Admission. We try to focus on the total experience instead of just picking apples. $20 is for more than just a bag to pick apples which does hold about 6lbs of apples. It also includes the tractor pulled wagon ride, free tasting of apples in the orchard, and our farm park with lots of fun things to do. I'm sorry that you did not know of other optio... read more
Won't be returning in future years! Cost $75 for 4 people to apple pick. Way overpriced for a small bag that can only hold 10-12 apples. Very disappointing.
We live 5 minutes away and your prices went up so much this year that we ended up leaving with all of our extended family that were here for a visit without Apple picking and will never come back. Sad. $160 for 5 adults and 4 kids under the age of 4 to go apple picking....no thanks.
We came to Apple Holler this past Saturday to find out you now charge an entrance fee, what a bunch of crap. All we wanted to do is pick some apples, instead we left and will never come back. Some good did come out of this though, we found a new place to go apple picking. Harvest Time Orchards in Twin Lakes.
I want to thank you for ruining our Family Tradition. For years my wife and kids have been looking forward to going Apple Picking. We woke up this morning and the kids were so happy that today we were going to Apple Holler. We drove the 45 minutes to find out that your prices have gone WAY up. I know I am not the only one that was mad. Waiting in line we heard several families complaining about the increase in prices and a few families left. You are making it hard for the Average family to be able to come to your place and e... read more
Drove a hour to pick apples only to get there and realize the prices have gone up almost double! We loved coming to Apple Holler as a family, and today was a big let down. Waiting in line forever listening to other families complain and leave only to realize that this year is just not in the price range for the average American. Our kids woke up so excited only to have to get back in the car and drive home. This isn't the first year that this has happened so maybe one day we will be able to afford to go again, until then I w... read more
