Long lines, high prices for everything. Strollers not allowed in the building. The kids were really disappointed. We left and went to Stonefire.
Business response:
Hi Michele….Thank you for visiting with us at Apple Holler. During apple picking season, especially depending on the day you visit, you are correct, there can be long lines. That is one of the reasons we don’t allow strollers inside the building, there simply isn’t the room for them to easily navigate through the lines. Our pricing is reflective of the entire Apple Picking Experience and is not just for the bag of apples. The fee includes the ½ peck bag, as well as the ½ ride to and from the orchard; additionally we invite s... read more
I love going to Apple Holler, I've been coming here for 6yrs now. Love their breakfast buffet they have, apple and pumpkin picking and the activities for the kids. The only negatives I will give is it's a little overpriced for what you get especially with the apple picking (2 very small bags) and they have a very large orchard to pick from. Also, if we have to pay so much for tickets for the activities for the kids, it would be great if they were all available/open to enjoy! Reminder: peak season (fall) is very busy so you c... read more

Hi Colleen….Thank you so, so much for being a regular visitor to Apple Holler as well as taking the time to leave a review. Our pricing is reflective of the entire Apple Picking Experience and is not just for the bag of apples. The fee includes the ½ peck bag,(each bag typically holds about 5-7 pounds of apples) as well as the ½ ride to and from the orchard; additionally we invite sampling of some of the more than 20 varieties of apples that we grow, while you are in the orchard. In addition to picking apples, your fee inclu... read more
Many varieties of apples with different ripening times so something to pick whenever you go, good food, cool stuff to do with little ones. The stores don't have much room to maneuver and had long lines, but I'd visit again.
Business response:
Hi Dyann, You are so right! We have so many different varieties of apples and each variety has a different ripening time, so there is always some new and tasty ready to be picked. We agree with you also on the food, and there are so many fun things for kids to do in the Farm Park that you could easily spend the day out there, creating some great memories. Depending on the day and the time, the stores can get crowded, can’t they? We do our best to keep things moving but sometimes it requires a bit of patience, doesn’t it? And... read more
it was overpriced especially considering the tons of fallen apples going to waste on every square inch of the apple hollers property. it's a shame to see food in the process of spoiling when there are those in need, but i'm sure they have no worries considering it's all pretty much paid for by the ridiculous $20/person admission. they could also use more signs/direction on how to actually go about picking the apples (you have to go buy tix first). beside all that, it can be a fun time because it's such a large attraction wit... read more

Hi Ines, Thank you for leaving a review for us. We just wanted to respectfully respond to a couple of the points you mentioned in your review. Our pricing is reflective of the entire Apple Picking Experience and is not just for the bag of apples. The fee includes the ½ peck bag, as well as the ½ ride to and from the orchard; additionally we invite sampling of some of the more than 20 varieties of apples that we grow, while you are in the orchard. We absolutely share your frustration with apples that fall to the ground and go... read more
Was very disappointed. We got there and wanted to take our daughter to the farm/pick animals and it was shut down at 5. We were not even allowed to purchase a ticket to just go by the animals. The employee who informed us was very rude. The only thing we could do was feed the goats and take pictures in the pumpkins. Very disappointed! Probably will not go back and never recommend anyone to go there! Poor service
Business response:
Hi Holly,...we sell our last Apple Picking Package ticket at 5pm. With darkness setting in earlier and earlier we don't want folks out in the orchard where they might trip or stumble and get hurt and it is for that reason that we sell those last tickets at 5pm, Our Farm Park area is part of the Apple Picking Package, and while we do have some animals that can be seen up close and personal and even fed, they are part of the Farm Park. We do hope you will come back and visit with us so that you can enjoy all the wonderful acti... read more
Most staff were very helpful. Breakfast was just good. The experience was great but super expensive. Only one wagon ride included so if you wanted to pick apples and pumpkins you had to walk. Very crowded which made it slightly hard to enjoy certain things. Lines were crazy. Nice time but not affordable for average family.
Old, filty & poorly organized. Waited in line for over 25 minutes for a table at the restaurant, only to find out (by ASKING) that we'd need to wait in another 25 min line for farm park tickets because they can't be purchased aling with your meal. Many of the "attractions" were not even operating including a small display as simple as "pumpkin bowling". Then, apple picking?!?! $75 for a RIDICULOUSLY small bag. With all the wonderful alternatives out there (that AREN'T located along a loud, busy interstate), I look forward to... read more

During apple picking season, the restaurant can get very busy, and unfortunately that can mean a bit of a wait for a table. Our Apple Picking Package is an all inclusive package that starts at $20 and goes down from there, depending on the number of folks in your group, as well as the ages. Included in the package are the following activities: Wagon ride to the orchard, tasting of as many apples as you would like while in the orchard, a 1/2 peck bag (children 4-7 receive a 1/4 peck bag) to fill with apples (typically this ho... read more
I haven't been apple picking here for a good 6 years and was disappointed that the prices were higher and the bags were a lot smaller. :( But it was still a good time
Even tho it rained I was there with my daughter son in law and 4 grandchildren. We had a great time just roaming the stores and the grounds. Be sure to buy the apple pies, ciminon rolls and the donuts, they are the best.
Business response:
Thank you for coming out in the rain, we are so glad that you had a great time.. You are right our donuts and pies are the best
