First off when we got there, there were hardly any apples on the trees! Very disappointing. Our 3 year old was 10$ and fit about 4 apples in a bag... Our 2 year old got in for free but did not receive a bag... His mother and I spent 20$ each and our bags only fit about 8 apples in each. Definitely not worth the kind of money.... They also do not let you sit on the ACTUAL hayride. It's a tractor now... Extremely dimmed the experience. BUT the apple cider was great (; And it's still a fun tradition for my family. So, maybe nex... read more

Our first time picking apples and it was so much fun for us. I read many reviews, and the common thread seems to be complaining about the price. A little website research goes a long way, people. I didn't think the $20 price was bad at all. If we had a bunch of kids, yeah it would cost a lot, but like I said, research. Also weekdays are going to be much more enjoyable! The restaurant was delicious and our server (Alek?) was very nice. Pumpkin patch looked bad but it is late in the season. I agree with the ornery staff review... read more

It was expensive for my husband and I and our 5 year old son. He was in a stroller and doesn't walk much due to having special needs. Unfortunately, we won't come back. I felt it was too overpriced.

I was quite disappointed with Apple Holler. The prices are a tad outrageous, especially for children. The children's area needed to be updated and better maintained. There was maybe one or two staff who were very friendly, the rest were quite stand off-ish. Hope things change soon before things fall apart for them!

Business response:

Hi Lys, We are so sorry that you were disappointed with your visit to Apple Holler. Our wish is that everyone who steps onto our farm has a day filled with fun and great memories. Thank you for visiting with us and leaving your feedback. Judy Customer Service Department

The train ride out to the orchard is a lot of fun and it's a pretty long ride. The place is huge. The apples are tasty. The price to pick apples is double from what I have paid in other apple picking orchards. We paid for the apple picking which came with the children's play area. I gave it 3 stars for the children's area. It's very outdated and seems quite a bit run down. If it were based on the apple picking only I would have given a higher rating. The pig races show was a bit much on the talking and jokes. Thankfully the ... read more

Hi Angela, Thanks so much for visiting with us at Apple Holler and then taking time to leave us a review. We truly do appreciate it. The Farm Park is a great place to spend time after picking apples; one of the wonderful things about the Farm Park is that it is a place to have good old fashioned fun. In this age of just about everything being high tech, we take pride in the fact that the Farm Park hearkens back to the days of simple family fun. We do understand that for some folks this may seem almost quaint or antiquated an... read more

This was our 4th year visiting with family and friends and our last. We always have lunch and take our son into the play area and ride the horse and let him run around. Lunch was ok, with a surprisingly short wait. Our waitress was subpar as we had to keep flagging her down for refills. After lunch we got in line to buy tickets for the play area and upon finding out the price that EACH person ($8) had to pay to enter the area and the $4 additional they wanted just to ride the horse; we immediately turned around and left. Pri... read more

We had a great time but I wish we could have paid to only pick apples. The price was expensive for those who only want to get apples and not partake in the children's activities. Also, better signage about where to purchase tickets would have been helpful. Overall, it was a great experience!

I took my 9 yr old son, and dragged my 13 yr old daughter and friend because dad was off doing military stuff. I wanted to pick some apples for pie and doughnuts. I'm warmly welcomed with its $20 per person to get into the orchard, period. I'm told them only I was picking because they are for me. But they didn't care. I talked to a women who said she was a manager, Gail. Probably the rudest women I've ever met. I again asked if I could just buy the bag because I'm the only one picking, to which I was told that 10,000 ppl are... read more
