An awesome place to have breakfast! I do recommend. They play nice music, you feel at the countryside. The food is good. We even took home Jelly and cake
Super expensive. Employees seemed like they didn't want to be there.

Thank you Jason so much for visiting us at Apple Holler. With your permission I just wanted to share what is included with price of admission. The price of admission includes a ½ peck bag which allows you to pick between 5-7 pounds of apples fresh from the trees….apples that are ready to be picked during their peak season, meaning they have reached the fullness of their flavor and color and are absolutely delicious. In addition to leaving the orchard with between 5-7 pounds of apples per person, you are invited to sample as ... read more
Conner was our server. Extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. It was a beautiful day. Although the buffet could have been better tended to I'll be back.
Just went to Apple Holler yesterday, October 22nd for my first time back since I was very little- which I was super excited about! I traveled about 40 minutes from Illinois. Parking was an absolute nightmare (had to park on the side of the highway), and I was astonished that the entry fee for just my boyfriend and I to go apple picking was $40! I explained that I didn't need the package (includes a corn maze, tractor ride, animal area, etc.), because all of those activities are geared specifically towards young children, and... read more
We had a great time today with our girls. There was a lot to do and the girls loved it. However, I took issue with the pig races. As we were walking around and looking at all the animals, my friend and I noticed that the pigs were quite lean; not really any noticeable fat on them at all. Then, as we were waiting for the pig races to start, the employees were inside the pig pen trying to get all the pigs inside and prepared to race. In order to get them in, they made kicking motions at them and used a large stick to swing in ... read more

Hi Alison, Thank you for visiting with us at Apple Holler. We are glad that your girls loved it! When it comes to the Pig Races, we can assure you the pigs are well taken care of. The pigs that you saw during the races are only 3 months old and they are growing at the rate that they should be; the pigs are fed twice daily. Young pigs do run a lot and as such, can look lean….as pigs age, they don’t move around a lot and tend to look much heavier. We agree with you the comments were out of line and we will bring this to the st... read more
Very Expensive!! It has been years since I've been there and it has changed so much! $20.00 PER person!! Outrageous. It cost me $80.00 for 4 small bags of apples.
Business response:
Hi Diane, We are so sorry that we did not meet your expectations on the day of your visit because of our pricing structure. The bags that are included with the Apple Picking Package are a ½ peck bag. Each ½ peck typically holds between 5-7 pounds of apples; your 4 bags totaled about ½ bushel of apples. In addition to the apples, you get to sample all the apples you would like while in the orchard as well as the wagon ride to and from the orchard, and the whole day to enjoy the Farm Park. We do thank you for visiting with us ... read more
I also thought the prices were extremely high. Especially, when you only want to pick one bag of apples. My family and I were in a similar situation. It was 4 of us and we only wanted to pick one bag but we each were asked to pay $18. I refused and just bought a bag that was already picked. They were delicious but paying almost $80 for some apples...I don't think so.
2 adults and 1- 4 year old. $50.00 bucks to get in! You get 2 small bags and the child gets a smaller bag. Sure you get to eat apples when you are their. How many do you think people will eat? The bathrooms about made my wife throw up it was so full. If you want to eat something for 3 people will cost you about $25.00 If you want your kids to do anything but swing, slide on an old slide or walk thru some hay bales that will cost you another $20.00 for tickets. So unless you want to spend a $100.00 on about 3 hours of outdate... read more

Hi Tom, Thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback. The bag that is included with the apple picking package is a ½ peck bag. A ½ peck bag typically holds between 5-7 pounds of apples… Children 7 and under (2 and under don’t receive a bag) receive a ¼ peck bag. ¼ bags typically hold between 2-3 pounds of apples. The total amount of apples that will be able to fit into the bags are entirely dependent upon the size as well as the variety of apples you pick. In addition to leaving the orchard with your apples, you are also ... read more
The apples were delicious, but the prices are insane. I understand that the prices are "all inclusive" but $20 is ridiculous for someone who just wants to pick apples (not mention the bags barely fit 7 apples in them). There are plenty of other orchards I have been to that have much lower prices.
