Very mixed bag. Initial experience was 5 star, after sales, 1 star. Pros: Quick to visit, survey, quote, install (1 week after quoting) and competitive pricing. System was up and running within 10days of contacting them. Cons: everything else. Initially laid my panels wonky, had to call bad to get them straightened, Then took about a month to remove scaffolding when I was kept being told it would be "next few days". My batteries were also left "balancing" on a loft beam, if I rest my hand on a battery corner, the whole batte... read more

We had our solar panels and batteries installed in September ‘23. The job was never finished and there was no chance in getting an MCS certificate, nor any other warranty documentation. We had to jump through hoops to get some help. In the end, six months later, we were able to call in another company, who were finally able to rectify the problems, at extra costs. Zero stars is all I would give!

Unreliable. Quick to sell, and extremely reasonably priced. The cost of the installation is the only this gets one star Took an absolute age and huge amount of follow-up & escalation for the warranty documents and MCS certificate to come through. Warranty is of no use, because I can hardly ever get a response back. The storm has caused damage which I am trying to now get repaired on my own.

After much research and shopping around, I chose Apollo Renewables because they were adaptable, knowledgeable and best on price. They came and installed 10 panels plus iBoost for the immersion heater and a 4.8kW battery in a day. They worked really hard and the system worked beautifully. However, after a month there was a sudden drop in output. I've been waiting for them to get to the bottom of this and fix it ever since (about four months to date), despite numerous phone calls.
