I wanted to hire a long term rental. I didn’t actually to get to that point because the process is so disorganised. There is a request for copious amounts of information (see pic) through unsecured email. This is a challenge in itself as emails don’t allow transfers of such large attachments. Also this should be communicated before you’re asked to print and complete a 6 page application form Communication over email was fine.

Very disappointing experience with Apex. I hold a valid French EU driving licence, which is fully accepted in the UK under DVLA rules, yet I was told it wasn’t acceptable. I was then asked to provide a utility bill matching the French address printed on my licence – something impossible, as EU licences are not updated when you move and new French licences don’t even include an address.
