Trying to speak with reception is impossible. Everything has to be done via live chat which takes hours to hold a conversation, then they just end the chat when it becomes clear that they don't have any information to provide other than generic copy and paste replies. I've now found a vet with people who you can speak with!
Overall seem to be a good vets. Few issues I've noticed though. Reception/waiting area is very echoey when people talking, so much so that you can't always hear properly what staff are saying to you. The support struts under the exam tables are dirty, with old animal hair/fur on. The tops of the tables aren't always wiped over between appointments. Reception/waiting area is dirty, including around the bottom of the reception desk. Considering how much they charge & it's meant to be a health service for pets, I'm disappointed... read more

My elderly (15) dog was seen by a vet for a second opinion about his condition. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and the vet who saw him was very honest and knowledgeable about his condition. I would highly recommend Animal trust Ellesmere port. I was recommended by a neighbour and I am pleased we registered here.
