Petty unprofessional staff. Stay away. Closed door cruelty practices and other shady things going on here. Take your pets somewhere that puts their care first, instead of office drama.

Wouldn't let them care for road kill. Heartless and cruel staff,not to mention illegal activities that take place here.

The best! They gave our ailing pup the best care--truly saved his life!
Been taking our pups here for a few years and haven’t had better care anywhere else, EVER. The veterinarians answer questions truthfully and don’t beat around the bush! They recommend what’s best and back it up with facts, and put everyone’s situation into its own perspective. Wouldn’t trust any other place with my pups how I trust this one!

We just bought our dog from a private party. We had trouble getting the paperwork from the previous owner. Sean was patient and so helpful through our transition period, and learning what we need to know about Moose. I drive 25 minutes to get there, when there is a vet 5 minutes from my house. Animal Hospital of Lake Villa is worth the drive! I am happy with their care, and Moose loves everyone there, too! Our visit today started with Matt getting all of our info before we saw the doctor. Dr. McGinnis just vaccinated my dog unnecessarily. He gave him the parvo/distemper combo vaccine. THEN he looked at the records that I had brought in, which included recent titer levels. He didn't need the vaccine as he was protected. All he had to say was " Sorry. I can't take it back" I would give zero stars if i could.
