RecommendedYes. Today they actually came to us. Patron is having some issues today and I'm all alone, with no one to help get 116# dog who is only using g 3 legs into the car. Matt came over to help.us out, checked the pup and said it was about pain management. Matt is confident Patron's knee is good and decided we don't need an office visit. We love this place and all who work there. They all care about your pets as if they were their very own.
having worked with Dr Unger, I can personally recommend him. He takes time to connect and ensure each animal feels safe with positive techniques. Doc has had several of my dogs in his expert, loving care. As part of his team, in the past, he also treated me with respect. Thanks Doc 😊
We followed Matt and Grace to the Animal Hospital of Lake Villa. They are two of the most caring people we know. Our dog Austin loved them so very much. He was a great judge of character.
I took my cat here because it was literally right across the street and she hates the car but I’ve been very impressed with them! Very knowledgeable, very good with her (and she’s not nice at the vet), honest but not trying to take your money. All around great experience.

The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Been using them for a few years now. They are a little pricey though.
