All the staff at the Animal Hospital of Lake Villa go out of their way to calm the animals and put them at ease. They even remember what works for your pets for the next time. Chicken breast pieces are made fresh and always on hand to help with stress and to reward the furfaces all during and after exams. They really work hard to be sure that a visit to the animal hospital is as trauma free as possible and that coming to see the Docs doesn't have to be a scary thing. From the first time I walked through the door, my dog & I were at ease and felt comfortable. The staff is so accommodating and compassionate. They treated my dog as if it was one of their own. Words cannot express how grateful I was when my elderly dog passed away and they handled everything for me. Zack and Matt were so accommodating and comforting to me that day!! I love this office- it's nice to actually feel like they love your pets as much as you do. my boy kitty is very outgoing and loves everyone he meets... my girl is very shy with strangers, and has opened up more there lately! she even ate food they gave her (this is VERY unlike her). They are always my first recommendation! *I went there today to pick up medication, and brought my girl kitty with me because she scratched her back open. My dog passed in November of 2017. This clinic was the one who put her down. I have started receiving postcards reminding me that she needs shots. It blows my mind that the clinic that put her down still thinks she’s alive. It hurts my heart every time. This lack of compassion and other issues are the reason we no longer go to this clinic
Dr Morton and assistants were so gentle with our rescue boy Max. Max is very shy around strangers but he is also very rambunctious. Thank you for taking good care of our fur baby!
