Winston's teeth needed cleaning...his breath was crazy horrible. He is also getting older so I hate the thought of putting him under. Dr Ed and his whole staff treated both Winston and I with the best of care, giving me constant updates on how he was doing. His mouth is healing...it was way worse than just bad breath and tartar on his teeth. They took amazing care of my buddy. I wouldn't take my dog...my best friend...to any other team of people.
Animal Hospital of Lake Villa has been amazing in caring for my sweet puppy. She came in with many health issues and they were able to help prioritize and tackle each of those issues one at a time. They take the time to make sure that pets are comfortable and feel safe. My dog is never traumatized about going to this vet (she has seen other vets at different clinics that she won't even walk into now). Hola saludos a todos aqui estan sus doctores y enfermeras de mi princesita coco yo adoro este lugar nose aecta mente porque pero loque si se es que es un buen lugar aqui atienden muy bien ami coco y eso me encanta asi que yo les recomindo esta clinica es muy buena todos los que forman parte de este hospital son muy buenos con mucha calma carisma para atender todos los peritos que aqui yegan..!!!!

We love our dogs...and so we want the best care possible for them....and we have found it at Animal Hospital of Lake Villa. They did SO much for our dog Opie, and us, when he was sick. I cannot say enough good things about all the love and care we received from everyone there. Opie was so sick and they did more than we imagined and allowed us 2 more months with him before needing to put him down because he had cancer. As a new puppy owner, I have been completely thrilled with Animal Hospital of Lake Villa. Dr. McGinness, Brittani, and the rest of the staff are completely friendly, knowledgeable, and really go above and beyond to provide the best care possible for little Daisy. I'm glad that I found them!
The care and compassion of this staff goes beyond the limits. I say this even after they helped two of our beloved Pit Bulls cross the bridge to a quiet slumber. I am forever grateful to Dr. McGinniss, Dr. Unger, Marilyn who is always there with a hug for me and my girls, and the entire staff. After having furr-babies for many decades now, Animal Hospital of Lake Villa is by far the best after moving to the area a year ago. I started at another local vet but they were not a good "human" fit but did well for the minute I stayed with them for my furry babies. AHLA is a perfect fit all across the board from feeling like family to pricing. Love you guys!
