Great – For the most part, my friend and I had a great dining experience. My only complaint would be that although we had made a reservation, we still had to wait about 10-15 mins. for our table. But in the interim, the waiters randomly brought us little complimentary appetizers to tie us over. And once we were seated, the food was really great. We ordered a caprese to start and some veal and a stuffed tube pasta as our entrees. All in all, a good time.

Excellent Food – This is by far the best Italian restaurant I've been to. The restaurant is not as large as one would imagine. The decor is minimalistic, which follows the "simple yet elegant" approach of Italians. The service was fine. The food was exceptional. The butternut squash ravioli was amazing. The lasagna was good as well although it didn't beat my own cooking. What stole the show were the lamb chops and the veal milanese. The servings were generous and delicious beyond anything you can imagine. The lamb chops were... read more

Blood Pudding! Yay! – My girlfriend and I came here a couple of weeks ago and loved it. The menu has both some old favorites and some knock-out specialties. The grilled blood pudding appetizer, served on a bed of mashed potatoes was DELICIOUS. We split the green lasagne for a middle course and it was light, light, light! The bechamel sauce seems to be whipped in some way so that the dish doesn't get the cloying, heavy feeling common to most lasagnes. A deliciose Osso Bucco to wrap things up and we were done. We didn't get to... read more

VERY GOOD BUT.... – you'll be eating the bread too. This restaurant serves some entrees the size of a tappas dish. Good food, well prepared, good service, BUT they skimp on the "sides". My pork chop came with mashed potatoes. Literally- there was 1 spoonfull of the mashed! Luckilly the chop was a good size. The Lasagna was also miniscule. BUT everyone enjoyed their food. A nice touch was a free appetizer sampling. However it was a daring fish thing that not everyone appreciated. They can save their money offer bigger entrees... read more

Best Italian in LA – Amazing, the Sicilian waiter recommended everything for me. They were out of Bistecca Fiorenting but made up for it with a delcious filet. The Rigatoni and the Spagetti were both superb, the lobster salad great but not as phenomenal as everything else. Great service, just like a neighborhood osteria in Florence.

Like Being in Florence – Angelini Osteria serves exquisite food reminiscent of Northern Italy. It will cut down the cost of the meal if one person orders pasta, one orders a main course, and you share both. The highlights of our meal included assorted meats, buffalo mozzarella, tripe and octopus. The lasagna verde was good, and tasted indulgent and light at the same time. The leg of pork was brought out on a table by several waiters, who carved the meat right off the bone and onto our plates. It was a nice presentation, and ... read more

Not too much BANG for your buck! – We had reservations and were seeted promptly. NICE. There is NO waiting area, it is very small that when you walk from your table to the restroom you will bump your neighbors table and your conversation can be heard, not only by your neighbors but, 2-3 tables over. The waiters do make the regular rounds to check on you however we placed our order and waited about 35-40min to have our main dishes brought to us. Finally when our food was served, I must say that it was wonderful, you can tell ... read more

One of L.A.'s Best Italian Restaurants! – Having just returned from a 2-week trip to Italy, my wife and I heard that this place served up authentic and delicious Italian dishes really close to where we live. First off, you definitely need reservations, even on a weekday. The place was full of 30 and 40 year olds, who obviously have smart palates. We started with the cold-cut appetizer, which was basically a heap of prosciutto, salami and other amazing meats. I had the veal, which was cut right off the bone. The Italian wines... read more
