When I booked the room, I was drawn in by the history of the hotel, being the grounds where President Jackson stood trial. I never really expect much when I stay in hotels as far as "things to do". It’s like stepping back in time with modern amenities. The rooms are small but the location and the hospitality is wonderful
Lovely place. Great hosts!
Definitely haunted. My glasses disappeared off the night table while I was sleeping. They were found in between the sheet and comforter.
Very nice people. Room was very lovely. Balcony was great to sit and people watch. Close to everything but not rowdy and loud. Just right. Only two drawbacks. Second floor only has narrow stairs to it and there was very little water pressure. But it was built in the 1800’s. So what can you expect. It was a great place. A part of history.
It is a very cute Hotel in the middle of the French Quarter. If you expect a top clas Hotel, then go somewhere else. We like the atmosphere and the staff is very friendly & helpfull....
