Dr. Nelson did a great job of explaining what happened to my thumb, explaining how it would be treated and answering my questions. He was very patient, easy to talk to and gave simple easy to follow care instructions.
Demeanor, professionalism, warmth
Dr. Nelson was very knowledgeable and explained everything so plainly I could understand. He goes the extra to find out what the real problems are.
Wonderfully attentive, skilled and to the point, great bedside manner. I highly recommend.
My visit at Dr Andrew Nelson was very nice, the staff member Stephanie (Sam) was polite and very comforting to me, for I was nervous about coming to the doctor office. Dr Andrew Nelson was very polite, took TIME to hear my situation with the trick finger and my fear of the verdict to what I could do about it. We discuss it and he came few minutes to think over it. I decided the shot, which he did so well, he explained everything before giving me the shot, that made my decision easier to make. I did not feel any discomfort fr... read more
I was very scared about this surgery. Dr. Nelson put me at ease all the way through this process. He took care of my arm got me prepped for surgery and did the best job I have ever seen. I was moving my arm with within the first week. I appreciate Dr. Nelson and all the hard work. He and his staff have done for me. Thank you very much.
I was given clear cut options
I was recommend to Dr Nelson for help with my trigger finger. I had previously been treated by another doctor and still was having issues. He listened to me and explained my options. I chose to have a second steroid shot. It was quick and painless. I would not hesitate to go back to him again and would highly recommend him. His staff was also professional and friendly. A very good experience overall.
Dr. Nelson treated my Dupuytren's contracture by needle aponeurotomy. He described exactly how this would work in the visit beforehand, again at the start of the procedure, and during the procedure. I estimate the actual procedure took 10-15 minutes, no more. Results have been very good so far (only 48 hrs later). He was both suitably warm and very efficient--this is exactly what you want in a modest, in-office procedure.
