Giovanni Scorzo, chef and proprietor, was born in Calabria, and grew up in Liguria, in the Northwestern part of Italy. Like his mother, whose maiden name was Andreoli, he became a chef. Scorzo worked in a variety of Italian regions, Liguria, Tuscany and Calabria, until moving to the U.S. in 1985. World Class Italian food. Try the Eggplant Hero, its incredible! This is coming from an East Coast guy who has had a hard time finding good Italian food out west. I found my spot here.
Classic delicious food. Customer service was out of this world. I will definitely be back even if it is a 25 mile trip one way.
Don't employ rude staff.

Wonderful home made pastas and deserts. Sandwiches are made with homemade bread and imported salamis. Porchetta sandwiches was the best I ever had...in-house made. Cannolis are fantastic!
