Giovanni Scorzo, chef and proprietor, was born in Calabria, and grew up in Liguria, in the Northwestern part of Italy. Like his mother, whose maiden name was Andreoli, he became a chef. Scorzo worked in a variety of Italian regions, Liguria, Tuscany and Calabria, until moving to the U.S. in 1985. BEST ITALIAN FOOD EVER !!!!’
Great people, awesome food, relaxing and fun. A favorite!
My wife and I took a ride up to Andreoli restaurant. We had the eggplant sub, salad and chocolate moose. The eggplant sub was excellent, the delicate succulent flavor of the eggplant was just great. It was slow cooked and it didnt have the typical spongy texture that other restaurants seem to serve. It was a 4.8 out of 5 stars. The chocolate moose was very good, but the texture wasnt great but the taste was very good. I would give that a 4.5. Overall. the food, the experience and the ambiance was very good, I recommend it.

The food is authentic, it feels like home, and it’s the best Italian restaurant in Scottsdale! Penne with veal, grilled calamari, gnocchi, the sandwiches, the chocolates... actually you cannot make a bad choice as it’s all delicious.
The Pork Porchetta on the amazing baguette with the Italian Style fries was amazing. Andreolis is the real deal. Good enough to be in Florence, NYC or Chicago. Definitely a treasure for Scottsdale. Next time i try their pasta and cannoli
