Giovanni Scorzo, chef and proprietor, was born in Calabria, and grew up in Liguria, in the Northwestern part of Italy. Like his mother, whose maiden name was Andreoli, he became a chef. Scorzo worked in a variety of Italian regions, Liguria, Tuscany and Calabria, until moving to the U.S. in 1985. RecommendedThe Pork Porchetta on the amazing baguette with the Italian Style fries was amazing. Andreolis is the real deal. Good enough to be in Florence, NYC or Chicago. Definitely a treasure for Scottsdale. Next time i try their pasta and cannoli
After visiting Italy last fall it just validated how authentic Andreoli food and menu is! We love Chef Scorzo and family. Delicioso!
