Andaz West Hollywood sits close to Sunset Plaza, the House of Blues and other noted places on the Sunset Strip. The 1930s art deco style and the geometric lines used throughout its fashionable décor make the place very unique. The highly visible advertising space on its 14-floor sides have become a local landmark of sorts. Multi-million dollar renovations completely revamped public areas including the Tramonpo restaurant, lobby, rooftop pool and meeting areas.

CELEBRITY SPOTTING – went to CHI last wednesday with some girlfriends - ate, drank and just as we asked our waitress if Justin Timberlake ever comes in, he and Cameron Diaz walk in with about 10 people - that was a nice topping to a fun night - the food was delicious - and there was a good mix of people - absolutely going back to Chi -
BANG FOR THE BUCK – I went there last night and thought the food was amazing. Portions were big, good variety to choose from and great taste. The bar was busy, the crowd was good looking and the drinks were good. It was just a fun night at a great resaurant.
Yes and No – I guess I went here with high expectations because I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong the decor was beautiful and service was great but that was about it. The food had no flavor, it was just bland. I felt like it was equivalent to a microwavable dinner. If you want to go and hang out for drinks, it is the perfect place. But for food....look elsewhere.
Positive – The menu is amazing, if you love oriental food chi is the place to go. Good service, $$$ reasonable and the location....Heaven...Thanks Chi
FUN NIGHT AT CHI – I was there thursday night for dinner and I have to say, it was great. The place was packed, the food was awesome and the martini's will get you where you want to go. No more expensive than any other place on the strip. In fact, it may even be less expensive. All the cocktails on the list are $12 and I know that's cheaper than a lot of places. The best part? The girls! At the bar and having dinner. They're beautiful. It's like a club with great food and no cover. I'm definitely coming back.
great night at CHI – i've been to Chi half a dozen times in the last few months - sometimes my choosing, sometimes friends - each time we've had a great night - we were there last week, we waited a few minutes for our table, which was fine because we ended up meeting people at the bar - there are lots of martini choices and they just added a lychee mojito that tastes great and has a good kick to it - the food keeps getting better and better and so does the crowd - Chi is quckly becoming one of my favorite restaurants -
CHI is GREAT!!! – I went to dine at Chi w/ my boyfriend and some friends recently and we had a GREAT experience! Its true the menu has changed a little, less dim sum, more traditional appetizers and entrees - however, the food was excellent! The halibut (entree) was the group favorite and we all enjoyed the lobster tempura roll (appetizer). Compliments also go to the steak filet and crabcake! The cocktails were dee-lish! As for service, the hostesses were super friendly as was our server who was also super prompt. We loved t... read more
DINNER AT CHI – WENT TO DINNER THIS PAST SATURDAY - HAD NOT BEEN THERE IN A FEW MONTHS AND WAS TOTALLY AND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED - NO MORE DIM SUM - COMPLETELY NEW MENU - AND IT WAS ALL DELICIOUS - WE WERE 4 PEOPLE AND WE ALL LOVED OUR FOOD - SERVICE WAS GREAT - BEAUTIFUL CROWD - JUST A FUN NIGHT ALL AROUND - DEFINITELY A PLACE TO RECOMMEND AND GO BACK OFTEN -
VERY VERY BAD – Went there Sat night for dinner with friends. Tons of empty tables, we were seated in the WAY back next to a table of tourists in shorts with a crying infant. When we asked if we could be seated on the patio where there was nothing but empty tables, we were told that they were all booked up by special request only and could not accomadate us. So we ordered drinks and some appetizers and listened to really loud bad rock music. The food came and boy were we disappointed. The hamachi was fishy tasting. Needless ... read more
