Kate did an amazing job on advising us on layouts for our grade 2* property - no mean fit! Plenty of angles and beams and historic features to work around. She is calm, full of advice and great at not making you feel daft about any strange or crazy ideas you might have!
Kate came to the rescue to try and solve the rather large problem of our house hallway. It's large and is central to the house - the space was completely eluding me for a long time. We had a conversation and exchanged a few things and I conveyed the vibe I was after. She totally got it and when the mood boards came back I was in full swoon mode. When trying to work out what on earth to do with the ground floor of our newly purchased but very dated house, our concern was finding the right person to work with who would ‘get’ us and could be a really good collaborator. Without hesitation I would recommend An Artful Life. One of the big things that I’ve learnt going through the process of doing the work with them is that although the design studio and online store have got a very strong aesthetic, which is partly me, it’s not completely me.
