Scheduling on website not very simple. It isn’t CLEAR on how to select spot. One has to realize that you have to hunt for open time. They also do not allow adequate time to view/set up patient portal. Canceled appointment because I didn’t get to portal over a WEEKEND! I am a PERSON with small kids and didn’t have time. I am NOT just an insurance card holder. Will be taking my BCBS PPO somewhere else!

Business response:

I'm sorry you did not have 20 minutes to complete your intake paperwork. We advised you when you booked your appointment that it would need to be completed within 24 hours or we would need to move your appointment to a later date. We do this because we want to reserve our coveted new patient slots for patients who are making their health a priority. We understand that sometimes your health isn't your top priority, which is why we offered to reschedule your appt to a later date and time.

Waited 6 weeks to get an appointment. Then when I finally got in I was denied care. She uses an online system to communicate, which she kicked me out of before even telling me I would be denied care.

Business response:

Hi John, I am sorry our wait time was six weeks, but you were promptly advised after you scheduled that we did not treat your illness. Since you were never seen I am wondering why you ranked your medical care as one star... These surveys and rankings are only accurate if monitored for validity and you ranking an experience you never had is not valid and skews the ranking system.

Horrible experience trying to book an appointment. Took over 24 hours just to confirm I wouldn’t be able to be seen the requested appointment date. If you have an urgent matter, this is definitely not a good office to book with!

Business response:

You are correct. We are not an urgent care center and like other speciality clinics do not book urgent new patient appts. Since you were never seen I am wondering why you ranked your medical care as one star... These surveys and rankings are only accurate if monitored for validity and you ranking an experience you never had is not valid and skews the ranking system. You can accurately post a bad review about office staff and scheduling, I wonder why you chose not to...

I love that Amy takes the time to listen and asks a lot of questions so that she has a good understanding of what I am going through. She always tells me her goal is to use the minimal amount of medication possible and that has definitely been the case for me. I was on double the amount of medication with previous psychiatrists. She also has a great bedside manner and I feel very comfortable with her. My previous psychiatrists were so stiff and always in a hurry.

Amy is great about asking relevant questions, listening intently, and providing specific feedback about my ongoing mental health. She is very professional in the way she views and prescribes medication as just one component in the overall approach to well-being. Scheduling appointments online and checking-in with a simple 2 min survey on a tablet is a huge time-saver. Every other place I've been to runs 30-45 mins late, gives me a stack of papers, sees me for 5 mins, and overprescribes big time.
