The first time I saw him he shook my hand. It made me like him right away. His bedside manner was impeccable especially during surgery when I talked to him as he did the surgery. He was great as to give me my options as to whether I wanted the surgery or not. Not pushy at all. Had surgery last Thursday when he removed a macular pucker that had attached to my retina.
I presented to Dr. Backes with stage four ovarian cancer. I was frightened and had so many questions about possible treatments and outcomes. She was kind but clear about what I was facing. She calmly and clearly answered all of my many questions. She guided me to the best possible treatments, surgery, and post care. At every turn her expert care gave me confidence and hope to continue with treatment. Dr. Tandon and his entire staff provided service and care that is second to none for my recent cataract surgeries. Everyone was friendly, empathetic, thorough, efficient and so attentive to me through each aspect of the procedures. It all starts at the top and Dr. Tandon is everything one could hope for in a medical provider.
This man is down right scary ! I don’t know who is leaving good reviews, must be friends and family. It’s almost as if he wants to bring pain and distress to you. I’ve left several times crying over the way he treated me. How is he allowed to continue treating patients this way ? I think he needs to be recorded during visits. I guarantee his behavior is shocking to most. I will never see him again !
He is a very professional, caring physician. I would highly recommend him and his surgical team to anyone. His whole team whether they are in the office or surgery center are awesome.
