This large greedy company boghtt our local propane company. The local company had adequate drivers and delivery was never an issue. Companies like this use covoid to close local offices so now there is no office staff To see in person , calls are routed to supposedly Ohio call center. I placed my order December 18th With a by Jan 1st delivery date. Well that came and went with no delivery. Woke up Monday, 1/11/21 to the house being 54 degrees. My 1.5 yr old and 4 yr old woke up at 5am screaming because of how cold they were. My son's hands were freezing and purple. After a couple hours of warming the kids up, and after realizing we were completely out of propane (even though we're on the auto-refill program), I had to get space heaters just to keep us a little warm, which cost an arm and a leg not to mention the amount of times these shorted out the fuses and once the whole entire house fuse. I am thoroughly disappointed with this company. I placed an order on 12/28 and was told a delivery date of 1/1-1/11. Thursday 1/7 we run out of propane. My husband called and was told it would be between 24-48 hours and someone would deliver. Saturday 1/9, 48 hours, came along and still no delivery. Called that afternoon and was told they would place an emergency delivery to fill our tank. Couple hours later and no one showed up. Wish we could rate 0 stars. Just like everyone else, we are out of propane, have two little kids, live in the mountains so it’s very cold out now. We’ve been calling the amerigas office every day and each day we were told the delivery was coming. This is so disappointing. I can’t believe they’d treat their customers this way. Such bad business. This will be our last time using them.

Worst service ever, I placed an order on the second of December and I was told it take two weeks to deliver. But it took a month, the I called to have an inspection and they won’t answer the phone.

I wish I didn't have to give them a star at all. They really are worthless and they let consumers run out so they can charge you an extra $111.00 for running out ......really we call order and 2 weeks later have to call back cause they don't deliver and we get penalties worst part I seen a truck in my area twice in that 2 weeks. They do that to rip the customer off. Think about all the money they make in a month if they do this to all customers

Awful company. The employees are rude and untrained. I paid almost $900 and then they charged me an additional $371 and overdrafted my bank account. Then told me there was nothing they could do. I did not authorize this payment. I also did NOT authorize an online account being created or the representative changing my bill to auto pay. The one agent I had tried to say I was always on auto pay, but I have bills proving the contrary. Just spent an hour on the phone trying to get AmeriGas to send me the credit on my account....$123.00! Agent told me that unless I switched propane companies that the credit would stay with them and they would not return my money. It was their agent that miscalculated the amount I would owe for the fill based on the current tank level. All they said was that they were “sorry”. I wish Heritage Propane had never sold out to AmeriGas.....HORRIBLE customer service. Find a different provider if you can.

I have to say as an Amerigas customer for over 5 years it is totally unexplainable how they can not answer the phone on their customer service line. I have been trying to order gas delivery for almost 2 months and cannot get a response. Their online chat function on their website is essentially disabled. When you call customer service the automated recording for 2 months says call volumes are exceptionally high and wait times exceptionally long and then simply disconnects the call.
