This is the worst company ever... I ordered my gas 25 days ago and still haven't recieved it, it's my first order, I have two children, no heat and it's winter. I wait 50 minutes everytime I call, to get a foriegn person that can not help me. They have told me 4 different times that they will be out next week and have told me specific days... They do not show up. We have missed work staying home to wait for them to come. We weren't able to stay in our new home over the holidays because it was too cold. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

None of these reviews surprise me. Amerigas bought up all the local companies that had great reputations with their customers and then they closed all local offices and got rid of all Customer Service Representatives locally. Also be aware that they now have a policy even for keep full customers if they let you run out of gas it will be at least 2 weeks before they come out or they want you to pay a $200 fee to come out early.
This used to be a decent company but service is horrendous now. Average one hour wait times on the phone. I placed an order for a tank fill on 12/22/2020. 24 days later still no propane. I was told twice delivery would be here in 24 hours. No show, no call. Now they say delivery is en route. I’ll believe it when I see it. Multiple reviews by people who only got propane by switching to another company. My husband is disabled and home from the hospital and sits in a cold house. They truly do to seem to care.
In complete agreement with all of the reviews posted here. If I could do a negative 10 starts - I would. Hour plus hold times is unheard of in any industry (including WALMART who is definitely more busy than these idiots!). I have been on hold to try to clear up THEIR billing error to no avail as after 1 hour and 16 minutes, 54 minutes, 1 hour and 12 minutes and more and more - I was told someone would get back with me within 3 days and that never happened. Just awful customer service, we were scheduled for delivery on the 9th of December 2020, when the tank got to 12% called non-stop to get a delivery. First call we were told the driver was out for delivery, he never showed. Second call were were told they couldn't do anything since the delivery coordinators do not work weekends. Third call I was told they tagged it as an emergency, and we should see a delivery the next day. This is the worst company for Customer service. I put in an order for my parents three weeks ago. My sister and I have called multiple times this week, even contacting the emergency number because their propane is almost completely empty. Propane is their only means of heat. I went with another company nearly a year ago when we rebuilt our house. They picked up their tank last spring. I just got a 30-days past-due bill from Amerigas. I've tried contacting them in multiple ways. I have been on hold for close to an hour with no one picking up. Their chat feature is not being monitored, email gets me nowhere. I would give this business ZERO stars if I could. All the people I have spoken to have been kind but their communication and service is horrible! I do not usually leave reviews but after 3 different DISASTERS with this company I am completely FED UP. Orders not delivered when they were confirmed multiple times. I’m going to say it- I HATE Amerigas. I will be finding another company ASAP!!
