We got two estimates and went with American Home Improvements. They were great to work with from financing to installation.
The workers were great. Prompt, worked the entire time, very conscious of not dirtying up the house. My problems came after the majority of the work was done and the workers were gone. The painter was horrible and someone had to come back out twice. The third one came and fixed the problems. He apologized profusely for the shoddy work. Had a really hard time getting answers and a scheduled time for someone to come out.
One of the windows was cracked when the order came in, I was told that when the replacement comes in they will come out and change it.
Even though we had to wait a few weeks for our install, it was done beautifully and professionally.
I don't want to be overly critical of the contractor because, ultimately my wife and I were mostly satisfied with the work. We signed our contact on 9/17/2017 to remodel two bathrooms. The salesman said that he was fairly certain that the work would/could be completed by Thanksgiving. After numerous phone calls on my part, and being told "two more weeks" numerous times, the subcontractor showed up on 12/11/17, 2 months and 3 weeks after the contact was signed. May have higher marks,but they haven't started work yet,they have been slow responding and calling me back.Was supposed to get a call the following week..I waited 3 weeks,then had to wait for answers even after that.The people are friendly though at least.We still have no ETA on starting work and still waiting on my siding sample so I can paint my block to match our siding.
Too may promises unfulfilled and broken and too many problems. When contacted they won't respond...paid them over $30,000 for windows, siding, mother in laws bathroom project and our bathroom and several small things in the bathroom need fixed. DON't USE
the installers left the yard very cleaned up & neat.The installers were very professional & Sears should be very proud thsat the installers represented Sears. Carol L.
